Hi, I'm Grandby.  My husband, for Christmas, gave me my first machine quilted jewel over 14 years ago.  Like so many of you, I realized in the 80's how important these touches of history had been.  Alas!  My Grandmothers' quilts had been thrown away or given away before my time.  After getting the first one and being amazed at how beautiful a machine stitched quilt could look, I bought my first used long arm machine.  I had intended to quilt just for family and friends, but word got out and I found myself saying yes to ladies who had beautiful tops passed down to them from their ancestors.  One of my proudest challenges was the continuous 8' x 18' quilt (shown on Smiling Faces page) for a local school.  I hope you will stay and visit a while.  Hope to hear from you.  "Keep a Song in Your Heart."
