OUR SMILING FACES
Thanks for checking out my website.
I'm Barbara (or Grandby to my Grandkids) and I have been quilting for clients all over the world for over 29 years. On the pages to follow, you'll see rates and photos for different types of quilts that have been pieced and/or quilted by m and some very talented helpers over the years. After 25 years I closed my brick and mortar stores and returned to my home studio. I live in the Texas Hill Country and work by appointment, but I'm as close as a phone call or an email.
Clients located out of my city, just ship their orders to me and
are shipped back to them, upon completion, via UPS.
My HISTORY? I can remember after school, having to hunch over, crawling under Mama's huge wooden quilting frame hung from the living room ceiling by the front door, just to get from the door to the kitchen for an after school snack. They didn't have long arms back then. But, thank goodness we do now! I began machine quilting clients' quilt tops in 1988. By 1995, I was also piecing and making quilts from start to finish.
To the older generation of quilters who feel like "it's not really quilted if not by hand", I say,
"The only difference between hand and machine quilting is like the difference between a
Mercedes Benz and a Rolls Royce". Fabulous either way, but when quilted by machine,
it's oh so much faster and stronger!
(Click on "CUSTOM" at top of page for the rate for quilting YOUR tops.)

"Remember, when everything seems
to be going wrong,
it will all quilt out."
